Very happy to be getting back on my bicycle in Rapid City South Dakota SUNDAY morning. I put on an extra five pounds over the last month to do this trip.
My trainer always tells me how skinny I get every time I go back to him after one of my “long haul” bicycle trips .
The remainder of the trip will be really easy with only 2500 miles to pedal. The first 1500 was the most difficult crossing all the different mountain passes.
I have done this portion before so I know what to expect.
